Senior Personal Banker–Team Leader for Retail Operations

Manager:
V.P. Consumer/Mortgage Department

Basic Function:
Be knowledgeable of all policies, procedures, regulations and key functions necessary to have effective teller operations. Provide direction to the teller supervisor to effectively manage teller operations according to policies, procedures, regulations and security procedures. Maintain day to day communication with the teller supervisor to ensure adequate collaboration on meeting the needs of the Bank. Work in conjunction with the teller supervisor to address staffing matters and provide adequate reporting on all teller operations matters To the VP Consumer and Mortgage Banking. This position will also provide sales and product training to tellers with a commitment to make sales referrals. Provide leadership oversight.

Manages a portfolio of clients, acting as their primary resource for all financial products and services needs of all customers on demand. Additional responsibilities include developing new client relationships from referrals and making referrals to Business Bankers, Portfolio Bankers and Mortgage Originators.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

• College degree or equivalent experience in business related field desirable.
• Outstanding sales, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Specific knowledge of financial industry products, services, pricing and profitability.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good computer skills.
