This awards ceremony honored NMSBank Vice President and CAO Patricia Matthews for being a corporate trailblazer in the city of Milwaukee. The event also awarded local citizens within the categories of law, arts, social services, volunteerism, media, community leadership, health, and public service. The event was hosted by the Milwaukee Times Weekly Newspaper.

This event was created to empower women and to help them cultivate a healthy lifestyle. A series of well-known vendors hosted booths at this event, giving away free items, including NMSBank. A healthy breakfast was served to all attendees. Fun, energetic workouts to great music kept the crowd excited and moving during this fitness challenge.

During this meeting, high school and college students were awarded funds towards continuing their education. NMSBank co-founder Dr. William Finlayson was featured as the guest speaker.

This initiative was implemented to raise funds for preventative research against breast cancer and to help find a cure. Hundreds of people gathered near the Milwaukee Lakefront to support this cause.
