Basic Function:
 Work with employees at every level to oversee North Milwaukee State Bank’s compliance management function to achieve a minimum “2” rating on FDIC compliance, risk management, and BSA examinations.  Assist in the development and oversight of the Bank’s Internal Auditing Program.

Chair the Management Compliance Committee ensuring that Committee members meet all appropriate deadlines and assignments.

Communicate on a regular basis, both formally and informally, with the Compliance Committee of the Board of Directors and as required to the Full Board of Directors.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

•  4 year college degree or equivalent work experience 
• A fairly in-depth understanding of the commercial banking environment, preferably in the State of Wisconsin.
• A working knowledge of all laws, rulings, and regulations affecting North Milwaukee State Bank. 
• Superior managerial and organizational skills.           .
• The ability to read regulatory material and translate that material for other personnel within the institution.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with Board members, management, staff, outside consultants, vendors, and regulators. 
• Willingness to serve, in the future, as the bank’s internal auditor. 
• Ability to work well with others in a cooperative, pleasant, and professional manner.
